These underscore the importance for educational institutions to develop and implement targeted programs that nurture both self-efficacy and social support among students. The implications emphasize the necessity of culturally tailored interventions in Chinese higher education, such as peer networking and mentorship programs, which resonate with China’s collectivist values and support structures.
