SSRIs accounted for 70.2% of prescriptions, followed by TCAs at 13.9% and trazodone at 12.7%. The most common diagnoses were depressive disorders (55.0%), substance use disorders (15.2%) and psychotic disorders (13.7%). Clinicians cited limited availability (21.9%), reimbursement arrangements (36.3%) and patient finances (33.9%) as prescribing constraints.

This study proposes a causal physics-informed neural network for phenol synthesis through alkaline fusion and acidification. Physical laws and stoichiometric constraints are embedded in the loss function to learn concentration trajectories and kinetic parameters for a stiff nonlinear reaction system.
This study used ultrasound in 84 healthy volunteers to measure skin-to-rhomboid and skin-to-pleura distances and derive BMI- and sex-stratified reference margins for trigger-point injection when real-time ultrasound is unavailable. The aim is risk reduction, not proof that landmark-guided injection is equivalent to image guidance.
In vitro experiments evaluated ethanolic soursop-leaf extract against zoonotic Plasmodium knowlesi. The extract inhibited blood-stage development with a reported IC50 of 9.65 micrograms per milliliter and reduced binding of infected red blood cells to endothelial cells. The effect was parasitostatic rather than parasite-killing and is not evidence of efficacy in patients.

Re-examination of old collections and aquarium-trade material revealed two new Thaiphusa and four new Thaipotamon species from Thailand. A KMITL team synthesised ZnO from zinc acetate or nitrate using low-temperature one-step sol-gel processing. Walailak University researchers screened P. acidilactici from fermented cacao. Isolate CR05 tolerated acid, digestive enzymes and bile, adhered to HT-29 cells and inhibited ESKAPE pathogens in vitro. No acquired AMR genes or haemolysis were detected, but resistance to several tested antibiotics remains a safety concern. It is a candidate, not an approved probiotic.
A taxonomic treatment of a Guizhou specimen confirmed Perennicordyceps prolifica by morphology and phylogeny. It occurred on a lepidopteran cocoon rather than the cicada hosts previously reported from Japan, making this a new Chinese geographic and host record, not a new species. Its Zenodo DOI is registered through DataCite rather than Crossref.
Neuron-specific deletion of both ADAR1 p110 and p150 in mice activated type-I interferon, caused choroid-plexus and ependymal hypoplasia, ventricular obstruction and early postnatal death. Restoring p150 or deleting MDA5 largely normalised interferon signalling and obstruction but did not rescue survival, indicating essential functions beyond the MDA5 pathway.
